Brendan O’Brien MD, is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon. Dr O’Brien received his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry at University of Buffalo and graduated Cum Laude. He completed his medical school at Stony Brook University in 2009. He was a recipient of the Glorney-Raisbeck Medical Student Grant in Cardiovascular Research and made the National Deans List.
Dr O’Brien completed his Internship and Residency training in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Rochester in 2014. He stayed on as a faculty member at University of Rochester, becoming actively involved in training residents and promoting education. He successfully established two practices to expand the footprint of the department during his 3 year faculty position. Prior to coming to Advanced ENT he held a faculty position at Thomas Jefferson University in the department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has authored multiple peer reviewed publications.
Dr O’Brien provides services in all facets of Otolaryngology, but has a particular interest in Rhinosinusitis.
Dr O’Brien lives in Philadelphia with his wife Marlene, a Vascular Surgeon who practices in New Jersey.
In his free time he and his wife have a passion for travel and love spending time in the outdoors. He is a native of Buffalo New York and passionate Bills fan; sorry E-A-G-L-E-S!
